This trek will take us from desert to meadows filled with wildflowers to green
plantations. The cultural diversity from one area to another is fascinating.
There will also be plenty of wildlife to view. We will have a number of days to
sightsee in Lhasa. There we will visit the Potala Palace, former home of His
Holiness the Dalai Lama along with many other places of interest. With our gear
loaded on Tibetan Yaks, we will trek as far as Everest North Base Camp, to see
the highest place on earth from the Tibetan side.

Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmadu
Day 3 Flight from Kathmandu to Gonga airport 100 kilometer drive to Lhasa
Day 4 Visit Potala Palace, Sara Monastery
Day 5 Visit Nangril and Chokhang Gompa, Dephung Monastery
Day 6 Drive to Namcho Lake, (a holy lake of Tibet)
Day 7 Drive back to Lhasa, begin trek
Day 8 Drive to Segatse - visit Sigatse Monastery
Day 9 Drive to Kharta
Day 10 Trek to Kharta valley
Day 11 Soual
Day 12 Jogsom
Day 13 Thansum
Day 14 Petang
Day 15 Phetang
Day 16 Rest day
Day 17 Petang
Day 18 Surum
Day 19 Kharta
Day 20 Low kharta
Day 21 Rumbuk
Day 22 Rumbuk (Day to explore Everest North Base Camp)
